Athens Youth

This reportage focuses on the young people of Athens, who, in the wake of the 2013 economic crisis, face two stark choices: being forgotten or scapegoated. Through my interactions and walks with peers, I found that Athens epitomizes a generation caught in indefinite waiting, living like characters in a dystopian film. Greek youth exists in a liminal state, unconscious actors in an economic drama. With these photographs, I aim to inspire my generation to stop being passive participants and start taking leading roles in shaping our future.
